How do I attend a Web-Ex Session?

The following instructions will allow you to attend any of the on-line sessions.  You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, at least a 56K connection to the Internet and a telephone. Simply direct your browser to the following address: http://invensys.webex.com/

Then, click on the New User button to ensure your computer is ready for the session. On the date of the session, and prior to the scheduled start time, go back to http://invensys.webex.com/ and find the meeting you are interested in. Click on the Join Now button and you will be connected to the session. Once you are connected to the session, you will be prompted to enter your telephone number. WebEx will automatically call out to that number to connect you to the audio. Simply answer your telephone and follow the prompts. From that point, you will be able to successfully see & hear the presentation.

If you experience any technical difficulties connecting, or using Web-Ex, please contact Ivet Yech at (815) 637-3094

How do I License Designer Suite 2002?

All licensing is now handled on our web site. You can get to the license area by logging in to the client area and selecting License Registration.

The first time you license a computer, you will need an 8 digit passcode that we will provide. Select License an Unregistered Computer, enter the passcode and click the button labeled License This Computer. The Reference Number will be read automatically and the License Key will be stored automatically.

If you are not logged onto the web site using the computer you are licensing, you should enter the Reference Number from that computer, along with the passcode, and click Issue License Key. Enter the License Key that is displayed into the other computer to license it. The Reference Number may be found by opening DS2002 initially, by opening DS2002 and clicking on FILE | UPDATE LICENSE, or when opening DS2002 after your license expires.

You will need a separate pass code for each computer you are licensing.

How do I Move My Designer Suite 2002 to Another Computer?

Return to the License Registration area of the web site and select Give Back the License from a Registered Computer. When you click on the Give Back This Computer button your computer will be unlicensed and you will be given a new passcode which you can use to license any other computer using the same procedures as before.

If you are not logged onto the web site using the computer you are unlicensing, you should enter the Give Back Code from that computer, and click Give Back License Key. You will then be given a new passcode. The Give Back Code may be obtained by selecting FILE | MOVE LICENSE in DS2002.

Why Did My License Key Expire Or Become Invalid?

Your license will need to be refreshed every 90 days by returning to the license registration area of this web site and selecting Update the License on a Registered Computer. This procedure replaces the old method of downloading a file such as November02Update. You do not have to wait until the license expires to update it.

It may become invalid if your system date or time is changed. It may become corrupted if you refresh your BIOS, update your version of Windows, or change certain software or hardware. If these problems occur, first try updating the license on the web site. If the problem still persists, please contact us.

You can avoid these problems by giving back your license before making any substantial changes to your system, such as those listed above. You can then re-license the computer without problems after the upgrades have been completed.
